Enhancer Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Enhancer is a recessive gene. A ball python needs two copies to look Enhancer; with one copy it looks normal and is called het Enhancer. Pair two hets and about a quarter of the babies are visual Enhancer, while the normal-looking siblings are each 66% likely to be het. Breed a visual to a normal and every baby is het, which is how most Enhancer projects start.
