Scaleless Head Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Scaleless Head is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Scaleless Head look, and two copies make the Scaleless, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Scaleless Head gives about half Scaleless Head babies; a Scaleless gives Scaleless Head babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Scaleless Head can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
