NR Mandarin Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
NR Mandarin is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the NR Mandarin look, and two copies make the Super NR Mandarin, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a NR Mandarin gives about half NR Mandarin babies; a Super NR Mandarin gives NR Mandarin babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, NR Mandarin can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
