Mocha Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds

Mocha is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Mocha look, and two copies make the Super Mocha, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Mocha gives about half Mocha babies; a Super Mocha gives Mocha babies every time.

In Lock and Lay, Mocha can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
