Co-dominant ball python gene · super form: Super Marble
Marble Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Marble is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Marble look, and two copies make the Super Marble, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Marble gives about half Marble babies; a Super Marble gives Marble babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Marble can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
