Co-dominant ball python gene · super form: Super Lucifer
Lucifer Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Lucifer is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Lucifer look, and two copies make the Super Lucifer, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Lucifer gives about half Lucifer babies; a Super Lucifer gives Lucifer babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Lucifer can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
