Kosmos Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Kosmos is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Kosmos look, and two copies make the Super Kosmos, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Kosmos gives about half Kosmos babies; a Super Kosmos gives Kosmos babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Kosmos can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
