Co-dominant ball python gene · super form: Super Honey (BEL)
Honey Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Honey is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Honey look, and two copies make the Super Honey (BEL), a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Honey gives about half Honey babies; a Super Honey (BEL) gives Honey babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Honey can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
