Dark Matter Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Dark Matter is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Dark Matter look, and two copies make the Super Dark Matter, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Dark Matter gives about half Dark Matter babies; a Super Dark Matter gives Dark Matter babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Dark Matter can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
