Adder Ball Python: Genetics and Pairing Odds
Adder is a co-dominant (incomplete dominant) gene. One copy gives the Adder look, and two copies make the Super Adder, a stronger version of it. Bred to a normal, a Adder gives about half Adder babies; a Super Adder gives Adder babies every time.
In Lock and Lay, Adder can't be bought at the start. It turns up only as a spontaneous mutation, from a lucky egg, and the first breeder to hatch one gets their name on the discovery board.
